I was cleaning up my Youtube channel when I came this little gem that I recorded on a whim about two years old. I speak about my experiences learning to hear again after I had cochlear implant and some of the techniques which I found to be most effective, why I think persistence, perseverance and a lot of patience are paramount to getting the most out of hearing aids and why I compare hearing aids to a walking stick.
My apologies in advance that this video runs for about 15 minutes. I tend to get a little bit excited talking about hearing loss especially when I am talking adlib!!
